Highlights of the
Audie Murphy Days 2010
June 25-26

We recently attended the Audie Murphy Days 2010 coference held from June 25-26. This event held in Greenville, Texas USA celebrated the life and heroic exploits of Audie, a truly great American Hero, whose heroism and patriotism is appreciated by many from all over the globe.

This highly recognised event amongst Texans was attended by numerable high profile statesmen, speakers, stars of the silver screen and Audie Murphy family members.

For the event Paul Picerni returned to the Audie Murphy Days 2010 coference. Many of you will remember Paul as Elliot Ness' side-kick, "Lee Hobson", in the crime-busting series, The Untouchables with Robert Stack. Movie fans might instantly associate him with the horror hit, House of Wax, in which he played the romantic lead -- in 3-D! These credits are just the tip of the iceberg in Picerni's stage-screen-TV career, where he acted alongside stars on the level of John Wayne, Errol Flynn, Audie Murphy, Burt Lancaster, Vincent Price, Charles Bronson and his best friend Telly Savalas.
